    Re: Sub-projects

We design and develop electronic, mechanical and software products and sometimes we have all these parts together in a single project, although they are devdevelop by diferent teams but have to finish at the same time

There is a workaround for simulating such sub-projects. For example, you could create "Task Groups" in a project to identify "Electronic", "Mechanical" and "Software" products, and associate tasks with the corresponding "Task Group". You could also set task dependencies between tasks, to ensure they are accomplished in the right order.

Actually we use to create task group in order to do that, but with sub-projects it will be better to manage and visualize tasks. With tasks groups all we have is to sort them together but it is not exactly what we need.
