The current method for creating recurring tasks, using the "Copy Task" feature, is a little too tedious and time-consuming. It would be great to have a feature allowing users to create tasks that repeat every two weeks, every week, every year, etc. In the opinion of my company, this is a feature that needs to be added as soon as possible.

 This feature is among the most requested. It should be added to AceProject soon.

     But how soon is soon?  A Year a month. When I spoke with one of your online help people they said they have created the reccurring task for others only when they paid extra to have a customized version made and this was before the last version (4.5) came out.

 

     So if you know you can do it then why is it not yet a regular part of the Ace Project software?  If lots of people are asking for it why not let them have it?

      I honestly really like Ace Project but the failure to have a working recurring task is making me decide to look else where.

It is true that we had a customer-specific recurring task module created for one of our customers. This module is not intended for general use however.

We would like to add recurring tasks to our base AceProject application. This feature is indeed often requested.
