Is there any way to show if a task was overdue?

If a task is due on, say, October 1 but is not completed until October 5, is there any way to reflect this in a report?

    Thanks!

    Hello Mr. Jackson,

A task that was overdue will not automatically appear highlighted or coloured in a report.

If you wish to generate reports where tasks that were overdue are isolated, one way to do so is to have two different task statuses for completed tasks (for example, «Completed on schedule» and «Completed after due date». You could then set up a custom task report and filter using your «Completed after due date» status. Ideally, this would mean that your projects, from this moment forward, would be based on a project template where these statuses have been created.

     Hello Mickey,

Your other option would be to run a Task report by date, and show all tasks due before today. This way, you will only see the tasks that were due before today. You then sort your tasks by status and focus on the incomplete tasks.

You can also compare a task's due date with it's last update. Normally, with your example, you would see the due date as October 1st but the last update as October 5th.
