I would love to see a field that allows me to post a date to follow up on the task.

Start dates and Due dates are necessary.  But a "Follow Up Date" field would allow me to constantly track task that are in progress on a daily basis.

We plan to enable users to add "Custom Fields" to AceProject eventually. This feature will enable you to add this date field to your account.

 In the meantime, we could add this field to your account via custom work. Do not hesitate to contact us for more details about custom work.
