Task numbers are generated automatically. The "Next
Task Number", which is set in the "Edit Project Information" page, is the number
the next task to be created within the project will be given. This number is
incremented automatically every time a new task is created.
However,
project numbers cannot be auto-generated because the field is an alphanumeric one. Every
time a project is created, its number must be entered manually.
