I assigned a task to myself and I did not receive an email notification. Why?

AceProject knows who assigned the task and therefore, does not send an email notification when users assign tasks to themselves. You must assign a task to someone else in order for AceProject to send an email notification. You can learn more about email notifications here .

What is a reviewer?

When a task is created, it is usually assigned to one or multiple user(s) to execute it. Once the user(s) has completed the task, a team leader or a manager can be asked to review/verify the work done to make sure it has been done correctly. This is when the reviewer comes in.
