• The title bar tells you where you are in AceProject. At the end of the title bar you will find a link to add a new message as well as a link to this contextual help. The title bar will also display your total number of messages for this discussion topic. 
• The Text to Search box lets your search all messages in the topic. Your search term will be displayed in red font in the replies.
• The Topic Details table displays the selected forum's title, description and creation date. 
• The Topic's Message List displays the actual messages. 
• Under the name of the Author is the number of replies he/she has contributed to your account's discussion forums.
• Messages are sorted in chronological order, with the oldest message in the conversation at the top of the list and the most recent one at the bottom.
• You can invert message order by clicking on the Ascending or Descending links above the table.
• You can sort messages by author by clicking on the Author link in the table.
• Topic messages can be deleted by project managers and administrators. To do so, click the following icon: . This function is useful to moderate or manage the discussion forum in case inappropriate content is posted. 
• Click the Post Reply link to add a message to the topic or click Back to Topics to return to the topics list.
  • Your reply must be typed in the text box that shows up. A rich text editor lets you format your text with bold, italic or hyperlinks, among other options.
  • Click the "Notify project assigned users" link to display the list of assigned users for this project.
    • Check the users you wish to notify about the reply you are about to post.
    • Click the "Post" button to save your topic or click the "Back" button to go back to the list of topic replies.

Who can modify/delete a discussion topic?
A topic can be deleted or modified by its creator and the project managers. All other users  are not allowed to delete it or make changes to its title and description. When a topic is deleted, all its messages are also deleted.

Who can contribute to a discussion topic? Who can add messages to a topic?
Any user who is assigned to the project can post messages to a discussion topic. Once a message is added to the topic, it cannot be modified. Administrators and project managers can delete a reply in case it contains inappropriate content.
