The
Multiple Task
Assignment tab
lets you assign or un-assign several
tasks for one user in two steps. This is a great time saver
since you don't need to open each task individually to assign
the user.
This tab has
4
parts: the title bar, the navigation tabs,
the Step 1 and Step 2 tabs.
- The title bar
tells
you where you are in AceProject. At the end of the title
bar you will find a link to contextual help.
- The Navigation Tabs lets you browse through the basic user
information and the user's assigned projects and tasks.
- The
Step 1 of 2
tab
lets you select a project to choose the tasks from.
- The drop-down list displays all incomplete projects to which
the user is assigned.
- Click "Go to Step 2".
- Click "Back" to return to the "Username" tab.
- The Step 2 of 2 tab displays all incomplete tasks for
the selected project, by default.
- The "Quick Action" drop-down list lets you filter which tasks are
available for assignment/un-assignment. The filter lets you view either
"Incomplete" tasks, "Completed" tasks or both.
- Simply check or uncheck the Assigned or Reviewer boxes next
to the task you want to assign/un-assign the user to.
- The already assigned/reviewer tasks are checked.
- An email notification can
be sent to the user in order to notify him/her of the assignment or un-assignment.
If you prefer not to notify the user instead, simply check the "Do not send email
notification" box.
- Click the "Update" button to assign the user or "Back" to
return to step 1 and choose another project.
Why can't I see all
tasks in the list?
You can filter which tasks
are displayed by choosing either "Show Incomplete Tasks Only", "Show
Completed Tasks Only" or "Show All Tasks" in the "Quick Action" drop-down, on step 2.
What
should I do on this page?
First choose a
project, then go to Step 2. On Step 2, use the checkboxes to
assign/un-assign a user, then click the "Update" button to complete
the process. You can always come back to this window and
add/remove assignment if you make a mistake.
