The My Tasks window shows all your tasks, for all
projects you are assigned to. By default, this
window will display all your incomplete tasks for all assigned
projects both as an assigned user and as a reviewer. The My Tasks window includes
5 elements: the title bar, the
search bar, the quick action drop-down list and the task list.
- The title bar tells you where you are in AceProject.
- The Printer Version link opens a window that contains only
the tasks that correspond to your search criteria. You can even
choose the number of tasks per page.
- The Export link opens a window that allows you to export the list of
tasks that is displayed on your screen. Export is available in two
formats: CSV and pure Excel.
- The following options can be set when exporting:
- Column Delimiter (separate items with a comma, a semicolon or with
tabulation);
- Decimal Symbol (dot or comma);
- Date Format;
- Export On-Screen Columns Only (un-checking this box will export
hidden columns as well);
- Remove HTML Tags (un-checking this box will export all HTML code
that may have been used for text formatting).
- The Show/Hide Columns link opens a window that allows you to decide
which columns will be displayed in the task list. Note that this option
will set columns for the "My tasks", "Incomplete Tasks" and "Completed
Tasks" pages as well.
- At the end of the title bar you will find the link to
contextual help.
- The title bar will also display the total number of tasks that fit
the search criteria chosen.
-
The search bar lets you filter which tasks to display, in
accordance with 3 criteria:
-
The first filter displays all your assigned
projects. You can decide to display all tasks of all your assigned
projects or all tasks of a particular project.
-
The second filter lets you choose whether you
wish to display Incomplete Tasks Only, Completed Tasks Only or both.
-
The third filter lets you decide if you wish
to display the tasks you created, the tasks you are assigned to or
reviewer on. Several combinations are available.
-
Note that the filters you will apply will be remembered every time
you will open the current page.
- The quick action drop-down list is useful to add a task
quickly in the project of your choice. Simply choose among your
assigned projects in the drop-down list.
- If you do not have the necessary access rights (level C1)
for at least one project, you will not see this box.
- The task list
displays all tasks corresponding to your search criteria.
- You can
sort the table by clicking on any column header: click once to
sort in ascending order and twice to sort in descending order.
- You may click on any task summary to open it.
- If there is a file icon next to the task summary (
),
this means there are file(s) attached to the task. Click on
the file number to open the task's file attachment tab.
- If there is a clock icon next to the task summary (
),
this means you have an IN/OUT item active for this task.
Click the clock to edit your counter.
- If there is a dependency icon next to the task summary (
,
or

this means that the task is linked with other tasks.
- Click the project name to open the project and display the
"incomplete tasks" page. Note that you must have the proper access
rights to open the project.
