Contextual Help - Portfolio: Task Report by Description
The Portfolio: Task Report by Description page enables you to search for tasks using text-to-search. The search is performed within 3 description fields: Summary, Details and Comment Thread.
The Portfolio : Task Report by Description
page includes three elements:
The title bar shows the page title. The
number of tasks that fit your search is displayed in brackets. The following links are
available at the end of the title bar:
The ( Printer Version ) link
lets you view the actual task report in a printer-friendly format.
The number of tasks per page as well as the page layout can be defined,
in accordance with your needs.
The ( Export ) link lets you to export the task list displayed on-screen.
Export is available in two formats: CSV and Excel.
The parameters below can be set when exporting to CSV only:
Column Delimiter (separate items with a comma, a semicolon or with tabulation);
Decimal Symbol (dot or comma);
Date Format;
The parameters below can be set when exporting to either CSV or Excel:
Export On-Screen Columns Only (un-checking this box will export hidden columns as well);
Remove HTML Tags (un-checking this box will export all HTML code that may have been used for text formatting).

lets you reach the contextual help.
The Search bar
The search bar is used to filter the information to display in the report.
This filter lets you select either one or all project types.
This filter lets you select either one or all projects.
This filter lets you select tasks associated with either one or all clients.
This filter lets you select either one or all user groups.
This filter lets you select either one or all task statuses.
The "Text to Search" field enables you to perform a
search using keywords. The search is performed within 3 description fields :
Summary, Details and Comments. When found, your keywords are displayed in red font.
Text to Search :
The "Apply Filter" button enables you to perform the search
based on the filters you applied.
The Task Report
The task report displays all tasks that correspond to your search.
