The “E-mail Notification” section under Administration => Account > Edit Account allows you to control the FROM address of AceProject e-mail notifications.
With the “E-mail notification sender” value set to “Connected User’s Email”, if a user assigns or updates a task, the assignee(s) who will reply to the generated e-mail notification will automatically have their replies sent to whomever performed the assignment or update.
With the “E-mail notification sender” value set to “Default E-mail”, all e-mail notifications generated by AceProject will have the same FROM e-mail address. This set up has the benefit of being the least prone to cause spam/spoofing protection issues. As a matter of fact, we suggest the following settings:
- Default E-mail = noreply@aceproject.com
- E-mail Notification Sender = Default E-mail
