Here are the steps to assign users to a project:

  1. Make sure the users have been created in your AceProject account.
    • Only administrators can create users. Please refer to this knowledge base topic to learn more about user creation.
  2. If you already have a project tab in the top frame for that project, click on it and then go directly to step 5 below. Otherwise, select  Home => Projects > Projects and then move to step 3.
  3. Click on the project’s Name link. That will open a project tab for that project in the top frame.
  4. Select  Project Tab > Assignments .
  5. Click the “Assign a New User” button near the top of the main frame.
  6. In the “Assign Users” drop-down, users are grouped by User Group. You may select one or multiple users. You can even select all users of a user group by clicking on the User Group checkbox.
  7. Grant the selected users their project level rights. You can find all details about access rights here.
  8. Click “Save” when you’re done.
